We are an online marketing company that has developed an exciting new web-based software to help our clients increase revenues from their websites.
We are seeking a Technical Support Rep to assist our customers via telephone and email for 2 weeks. (If we are satisfied with your performance, we can renew the relationship).
You must reside in the US or Canada.
If you already work from home or are seeking part time work, this can be a great opportunity to earn additional income from your expertise, for minimal work. Essentially, you would be on-call for an established number of hours, but may actually receive very few calls or requests during that time (which means that you can continue with your current job / responsibilities). You can work from anywhere, but you will need to be available via phone and computer during your on-call hours -- 9 AM to 8PM EST.
## Deliverables
Responsibilities:
* Answer phone calls and email from customers during on-call hours
* Provide clients with suggestions on how to modify their Web sites in order to integrate their sites with our software
* Liaison with our software engineers to ensure that the customer's problem is satisfactorily resolved whenever any support requests need to
be escalated to our engineers.
Competencies Required:
* Excellent knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is required
* Knowledge of PHP and ASP is preferred, but not required
* Experience working with ecommerce platforms and content management systems is preferred, but not required
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and writing)
* Excellent inter-personal skills and a willingness to be helpful
* Prior experience working in a technical support or customer support role will be a plus
Compensation: $500 per week (or $100 per day if you work less than 5 days in a week)
