Hello,
I am Sascha Heylik, the author of the Android app "Server Watchdog" (available on Google Play), which can monitor your websites and alert you when they become unavailable.
Since January 2011 I've been working a lot for the Austrian fire hydrant service business "Hydrantenservice GmbH" (Now renamed to "Hawle Service GmbH"). I was responsible for adding automatic .pdf inspection report generation to one of their websites, building a new overview of the hydrants in their database and a mobile web application for them that takes the user's GPS coordinates, locates fire hydrants close to him and presents them as a list.
Currently, I am also in charge of moving their old website content to a new CMS and design after the company was renamed.
I strive to build great software and not just hack together some code that "sort of works". Now as a human being of course, I am far from perfect. But what sets me apart from most programmers is that I *actually* am constantly learning and improving the way I work.
Building great software means starting by producing solid requirements and design documents, write clean and maintainable code and, depending on the project, automated testing.
The quality of my work is very important to me, since it forms the foundation for a satisfying long-term partnership with a client. Those clients tend to come back again and again with their software problems. And I am happy to provide solutions.
I hope to hear from you soon.
