5665 PHP/MYSQL ticket system update

We have a trouble ticket system that was developed by someone that is no longer in our employ and it needs to have a few things fixed on it. 1. Expanding a note on trouble ticket page causes recently entered data to disappear: There is a javasrcript funtion that causes a note field to to exand to see more text on previously entered note. When you click it, the page appears to refresh, but any data that you have entered but not previously submitted goes away. There is a second funtion that expands the text of all previous notes which works corrently without recently entered data going away. 2) When typing a new trouble ticket (in ‘Add a new ticket') there is a customer phone number and a rep phone number field. These fields call a javascript to format the number. When entering the rep phone number (second number on page) it overwrites the customer phone number. 3) When ever we leave the ‘New Notes' field to populate another field, any apostrophes have /// added. This occurs when other fields are using onclick or onchange funtions. Likely the escape characters are not being striped out when the page is refreshed or could be a server config setting does not match that of the environment where the app was created. Customer is using a shared hosting account, so server config settings can't be changed. 4) When we choose ‘Order' in Priority, the ticket can't be closed, and we can't change it back from Order to Ttik. Although they are called priority, these two items cause additional information to appear on the form. Main difference is that an order has a "tickler" with several steps listed in the in order they need to be completed that must be tracked and completed. Not sure at this point if the orginal programer ever meant to give the ability to swith between a ticket and an order. 5) When we select a tickler at the bottom, none of the fields in the entire ttik can be changed. Not sure what the issue is here.
