We have a website running which needs page-load optimization.
The dedicated server configuration:
MB: Supermicro PDSMi+
Intel Core Duo, 1066 MHz on 2.13GHz/Dual-Core, 2 MB cache
Supermicro SNK-P0011 passive heatsink
RAM: 1GB (2x512 MB) PC4200/533Mhz DDR2 Sdram
2x320 GB Segate SATAII 16 MB cache HDDs
Slim CD-rom & FDD
1U Chassis, 300W PS - Supermicro SC813MT-300
Operation System : Debian GNU/Linux
MySQL Version : mysql Ver 14.7 Distrib 4.1.11, for pc-linux-gnu (i386)
PHP Version : 4.4.0
We already enabled MySQL cache
with:

We asked for enable-fastcgi, but host said that they could not do this because this would require the whole php to be recompiled for my server.
, my guess it would be possible.
they already did disable KeepAlive connection, which may reduce the available connections of the Apache web server, when pages with many images are loaded. Also I have increased some MySQL setting. The new values are double the old ones.
