PHP Simple HTML DOM Parser Code needed

I have 20 years experience writing data gathering tools in PHP/MySQL and other languages. From searchengines to complex analytics tools. I have written my own custom built web parser which is much simpler and faster than the one you have listed.... It doesn't work to specifications because it realistically doesn't need to.... It will do the job you require quite easily and has been heavily tested on many complex parsing projects I have done for other customers over several years. Examples of websites I have used this parser on include Google and Highwire If you want more elaborate, can do as elaborate as you like with an extended project :) I would be happy to discuss this project with you further.
