The goal of this project is to deliver documents for training. Also see the attached file.
You will take the Chapter on Frame Relay from a Cisco CCNP certification book, use that as a reference, and create summary notes that are easy to understand. ALL the objectives of the Frame Relay topics must be met !
The goal is to create summary notes for teaching Frame Relay theory & lab. It has to be original ??" do not copy form anywhere else.
Diagrams have to be original, not copied.
Delivery of documents will contain TWO parts
PART I
Theory : Explain what is Frame Relay, various concepts, DLCI, PVC vs SVC, LMI
Traffic shaping. Describe various configuration types. ??" NBMA, Broadcast, Point to Point, Point to Multi-point .
Include some diagrams.
Commands that can be executed at the Cisco Router related to Encapsulation, DLCI, Switching, LMI, frame relay map, various configuration commands, all the show commands related to Frame Relay
PART II
Create Hands-on LAB Exercises that relate to theory topics mentioned above.. ( see a simple example shown in next few pages)
Lab exercise must use minimum # of routers, maximum 3 … if possible. Simply use one 25xx as a FR Switch & back to back DCE/DTE serial cables for WAN.
My example has 3 routers + 2 client workstations. Actually, instead of workstations, use LOOPBACK Interfaces to simulate other networks
All networks must have Private IP address ( use 172.16 thru 172.31 nets and subnets )
All labs must have output shown for each command, captured using TELNET session
Add some comments and explanation to the outputs
For development, you will use your own 25xx and 16xx series routers. Finally, you will test the labs & deliver them. To test the labs, you will be given access to 3 routers over the internet when you are ready to test the labs
See attached file for details on th ejob + example.
The outputs are shown for each router command. However, there is no explanation added
## Deliverables
Deliverables will be separate word documents such as [login to view URL] , [login to view URL], etc etc & [login to view URL] , [login to view URL] , [login to view URL] etc etc for theory & labs respectively.
## Platform
Cisco Routers 2500 & 1600 series
