Hello:
I have a simple VB6 database front-end project that we run from our office.
It consist of a ADO datagrid, with bound text boxes using a ADODC control. The MySQL database it connects to is on our website.
What I need is 6 sort buttons. When one of them is selected, Here is a example of what the button needs to do: The Sent button should do a Select * from samplerequest where mySentInfo="Y" and myRemove="N" Order By mySentDate Desc
I allread have all 6 buttons in the form, all I need is the code to make them work, NOTE: These buttons must work from the Mysql Database that is on our Web site.
When the program is opened there is a menu, PLEASE SELECT SAMPLE REQUEST (THIS IS THE FORM THAT NEEDS THE CODE)
I cannot get any of the code listed below to work
UserId=Select * from samplerequest Order By UserId Desc
Sent=Select * from samplerequest where mySentInfo="Y" and myRemove="N" Order By mySentDate Desc
CallBack=Select * from samplerequest where myCallBack="Y" and myRemove="N" Order By myCallBackDate Desc
Order=Select * from samplerequest where myTurnedtoOrder="Y" and myRemove="N" Order By myTurnedOrderDate Desc
Hot=Select * from samplerequest where myHot="Y" and myRemove="N" Order By UserId Desc
Removed=Select * from samplerequest where myRemove='YES' Order By created Desc
I have attached the program, to connect to the database I will need to add your IP address so that you have access to the database.
I am trying to learn VB6 and don't have the time or knowledge to finish this project.
I am looking for someone to take what I have, and make it work.
Thank You
Bill Dannels
