USB Security Dongle Application Software Support Package(repost)

The aim of the project is to develop a software security toolkit based around an existing available USB dongle ( DLP-D ). This product is based on a chip FT232R from FTDI Ltd. which has a feature called ChipID containing a unique 32 bit number that is burnt into the chip and an EEPROM area that can be read and programmed by the end user. The toolkit would be used by application software developers to integrate copy protection and license management features into their applications. The toolkit would consist of a COM object offering various security options, such as silent validation ( the dongle has to be inserted into the PC before the software will run ) or password based validation. I'm open to suggestions from the buyer as to what other features the package could / should have. The COM object should be stand-alone, i.e. doesn't need the FTDI supplied DLL and can communicate directly with FTDI's low level USB driver stack. VC++ Source code of this DLL will be provided by the seller to aid in integration. The COM object should come complete with object classes for use in Visual C/C++, Delphi, Borland C++ Builder, Visual Basic, C#, and should include working example code in these respective languages. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Full English language documentation of the feature set including function calls, parameters etc. in MS Word format. 3) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition on Windows based ( Win '98 upwards ) PC platforms 4) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows ME and Windows XP.
