My problem is I upload a compressed jpeg image at 12kb size as a product image through the admin panel. But the penny auction script merges a second image which is the 'auction type' with the product image which is now a png at 100+kb size when it finally is posted on the product page. no longer 12kbs. I need to disable this by changing some code in the script from creating the new image as i am trying to optimize the website for speed and would prefer to use the compressed jpg with no auction type in the top left corner. hope this makes sense to someone!
