Simple to Intermediate Wordpress Plugin Development

We need the services of a great Wordpress plugin developer. The tasks is not a difficult task. In fact, we have a plugin that already functions. We just want to make it much better. The plugin basically listens to every visitor arriving on the site from a specific traffic source. We use a traffic distribution system for a specific kind of traffic.

When the site receives traffic from this traffic source, we need the plugin to consider all the traffic received (including from this traffic source) and it sets a percentage value (say 3% for example). This percentage setting is already configurable through the existing plugin. When the the daily traffic reaches 3% from the last display, the plugin would display a certain page (not available from the front end website by normal organic visitors).

We have a plugin that already works. We just need to able to make the display templates easier to make (we need to make those manually at present in an HTML editor) and we want to be able to do this in the plugin, via the Wordpress backend.

These display templates act like your typical interstitial ads type of page.

We want to be able to make more then one display template. The plugin already allows us to select what template is the default to display.

We want to the ability to add one or many images into the template pages created and test what images get the highest amount of clicks. We would like to be able to set short codes to display one image only or to cycle through all the images added.

We would need to be able to upload (for example) say 5 x 336px by 280px wide images, and let them display evenly over time (if that shortcode was set). The plugin would then capture how many times each image displayed and how many times each image was clicked (so we know the best image to display ongoing). We would need to be able to set a threshold to say once the image display reaches 300 (for example), if one particular out performs all the others, to automatically set that to become the new default image to display on these pages.

You would need to have good PHP, HTML, CSS type skills. You would need to implement a WYSIWYG editor into the template preparation tool as well.

This is really a project more then it is an ongoing job. We do have lots of other tasks sitting in the pipeline that we would eventually like to have programmed as well, but for now, this is our main priority.

The rate of pay is negotiable either in the form or an hourly rate or a fix price project with milestone payments. We have set a rate for the project based on advise from other projects we have seen. We are negotiable but not desperate. Please keep that in mind.
