PHP Script that can be placed on any external website, and it can detect if a user is logged-in into vBulletin forums, and also can detect whether that user is in a specific user group from the forums DB. External Website Example: <?php 1. Connect to the vBulletin DB with a user that has only read(select privileges). - note: only ip allowed servers(websites) can logged in to that DB. 2. code that detects if user is currently logged in. 3. if user is from the usergroup "VIP", echo it to do something like "You're VIP" Else "Do Nothing". 4. User should be able to logged in from a form, from a external website. ?>
