We are looking for candidates experienced (2+ years) in android app development. Immediate opening in a hot startup! Skills: Primary - App Development, Android, Java Programming, HTML/CSS, javascript Secondary - Cordova/PhoneGap, HTML/CSS, AngularJS, PHP, MySQL, Node.js Responsibilities 1. Developing mobile app in Android/PhoneGap. 2. Write quality, scalable, maintainable code. 3. Translate requirements into elegant functional solutions which may include design decisions, database planning and architecture 4. Modify/enhance existing functionality. Add new features in the existing code base. 5. Implement screens as per the ux. 6. Write code to call webservices, parse json data, handle complex programming logics/algorithms. 7. Implement push notifications, schedule tasks, effectively handle resource intensive tasks running in the background. 8. Implement efficient local storage in the device for large data. 9. Write java code to implement native functionality. 8. Work closely with other team members to design, develop, code, test and debug. Eligibility Criteria 1. 2+ years of hands-on experience in building mobile apps and have already published apps. 2. Able to write a quality, scalable, maintainable code. 3. Quick learner, willing to work/learn any new technology. 4. Strong computer science and problem solving fundamentals. 5. Results-oriented, creative and comfortable finding the solutions on own. 6. Strong UI/UX sense and experience 7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and perform well under tight schedule. 8. Previous statup experience would be a plus.
