Django Channels Websocket/Authentication Project

Hello, my project is as follows: ---------------------------------------------------------- 1. Standard django project with users and authentication 2. Once a user visits a page to authenticate themselves, they can also connect to a websocket 3. The websocket must be implemented using the latest version of django channels allowing asynchonous operations: connect/disconnect/send/recieve 4. The user must be able to use their HTTP cookie or a JWT sent from the main server to authenticate themselves with the websocket service 5. The websocket service managed by channels must be able to access all data about the user in the database after being authenticated. 6. If using a JWT and time ran out, the service must require the user to request a JWT renewal from the webserver. 7. For a proof of concept, implement a simple websocket service where the user will connect to the websocket and only if authenticated the service will send back some data from the database about the user.
