Research available api\'s/embeddable 3 party solutions for our web application

This is a research task. The task is to research available third party solutions for video conferencing. The solution must have an api that allows us to integrate it within our rails application. Either through a gem or through javascript. Inside the video conference, users can participate using voice video from their webcam Our purpose is to have a video conferencing solution within our web application. That would allow users to select multiple people from within our application and initiate a video conference with the selected users. At the least it should be able to email users a link to the video conference. Deliverables: Spreadsheet with the following information: Link to the service provider. Is it a paid solution? gem or api or server application? Allows embedding of video? How are participants invited to the video conference? Please include with your proposal a short description of the steps you would take to accomplish this task.
