Dear Hiring Manager, I am a Sri Lankan university student currently studying in a UK university in Sri Lanka and I am very interested in this position. My most recent job was as a personal assistant to the Hiring Manager of a US based staffing company(where I worked for 6 months and stopped because my client had to end the contract as there was no work anymore) and I was responsible for making follow up calls ,email management and much more.I always helped him to focus on his biggr goals while I managed all the minor things in life. When I worked in Human resources, I did the scheduling and tracking. I was responsible for choosing the resumes based off keywords and skills, calling/emailing and scheduling appointments. I spoke with managers after the interview to make proper notes about the candidate for our internal system and follow up purposes. After discussing the role with you and learn more about exactly what I would be doing it, I am sure I can tell you why I would be the best candidate for the role. I excel in phone and email skills and practice great customer service. At this time, I freelance with a resume formatting service when I am email customer support as well as helping with resume formatting and editing. I work from home and can devote time to this position as well. I also want to let you know ahead of time, as I want everything on the table now, I would need 5 days off for the holidays, so if you need someone who can commit during that week, I would not be able to do that.
