Create C# Library for Sentiment and Emotion Analysis

This project will use the C# language, and must be a Visual Studio project that compiles under Visual Studio 2013. The project falls into the category of Natural Language Processing. The functionality performs a sentiment analysis and an emotion analysis on text. The input to the function is a string containing text content. The output from the function is a data structure containing six double values. The first is the sentiment, and represents the relative mood in a value from -1 to 1. Then there are five emotions: anger, disgust, fear, joy, and sadness—each represented by a value from 0 to 1. The functionality is a subset of the Alchemy API ([login to view URL]). Data Structure: public struct SentEmoInfo { double Sentiment; double Anger, Disgust, Fear, Joy, Sadness; } Method Prototype: public SentEmoInfo DoAnalysis( string TextData ); Deliverable The deliverable must be a Visual Studio 2013 project. All code must be written in C#. It is permissible to use a third-party library, and I would strongly suggest starting with SharpNLP. The compiled code must be a .DLL assembly that can be consumed from any other .NET application. All source code must be completely commented. All source code must be up to modern standards. The .DLL can load in external data. The .DLL cannot make calls to external APIs, and must be completely stand alone. The .DLL must run correctly without an internet connection. Testing The final project will be compared against the Alchemy API. It should have a relative, or scalable relationship to the values that the Alchemy API returns. Milestones 1. Initial .DLL for testing and a sample WinForm program with which to test. This will be 30 percent of the final agreed upon fee. 2. Fixes and adjustments to the .DLL so that it functions in accordance with the specs. This will be 20 percent of the final agreed upon fee. 3. Submission and acceptance of the entire Visual Studio project. A code review will be undertaken in order to determine the quality of the technology and coding practice. The balance of the agreed upon fee will be paid once the source code review has been completed and the project has been found acceptable.
