I own a grocery whole sale store for which I have a POS software. I want to create another software to be installed separately that can read the information from my POS software. I want this software to read info from my POS software such as inventory information and push to to my website. Also, I want the software to be POS independent, so that even if I change my POS software to any other software, it would still work.

Hello, I have to explain something before I will go to other things. Integration is always dependent on the software, so when you change POS software the integration has to be customized. I'm not saying that whole software has to be done from scratch, but the point where both softwares communication need to be updated. I've seen that you marked this project as C, C#, C++. Is there any reason for that? I would like to prepare solution that will be more likely cheaper, and chances to amend will be higher. What POS system are you using currently? I would like to check what are the possible ways to communicate with this software. If you have any questions to me, don't hesitate to ask them :) Best regards, Marcin
