I need you to develop some software for me. I would like this software to be developed for Linux using Python in Raspberry pi 3 .
There are three simple stages for my small project as below.
1. The first stage for the project is to create the Python program to receive the ACSII code from industrial PC through Ethernet by 9100 port and store into the Raspberry pi3 Micro SD card. You can see the attached drawing of existing system how the industrial PC to connect with Sato brand printer.
I will do the second stage as only I know how to extract the data from the Sato protocol.
Then, need to do the third parts of Python program to send the other brand printer called Videojet command codes together with the parsed data through RS232 port by using USB to RS232 convertor cable.
Thus, the Videojet printer can print the same data / information as the Sato printer. Please note that the communicate in RS232 between Raspberry Pi3 and Vediojet may be two way communication. It means RaspberryPi3 will receive the acknowledge from Videojet printer to confirm the data receiving successfully after sending the data to it.
Then, need to do the third parts of Python program to send the other brand printer called Videojet command codes together with the parsed data through RS232 port by using USB to RS232 convertor cable.
