It is not desirable to allow all the users to be able to anything to any part of the database. For example, the sales manager may need to view and update customer orders but they do not need access to works orders. Conversely, the works manager may need to view and update works orders but they do not need access to customer orders.
Create a new user profile with restrictions you think are appropriate Create a new user and assign name, password, new profile and storage quotas Create three views based on one or more tables Issue the new user the appropriate privileges to query and insert into the view Issue your new user the required privileges to connect and do the following work: o To be able to only query (read) view A o To be able to query and insert into view B o To be able to do all tasks on view C To save the DBA time, wrap all these privileges into a single role Remove all the previously issued privileges from your user Replace them by issuing the new role to your user
