Security Awareness Animation Series

Super-Creative Student/Intern Animators The Security Awareness Company is a ‘boutique’ organization that specializes in the production of entertaining and educational interactive multi-media content about internet security, safety and privacy. We want to animate many of our current materials, in short 2-4 minute ‘episodes’, based upon our current scripts, audio… as well as new scripts we are always creating. We are looking for super creative part-time/project oriented animation folks who like these working conditions: - Where a super great sense of humor is a requirement. - No office, commute or fancy dress required. - Work from your preferred location using your computers, etc. - Any hours you want. We really don’t care… as long as the projects get done. ☺ - Get as creative as you want. We are always looking for something different! - No micro management. - Meetings? To h*** with ‘em! We do group think/idea/creative. - Take constructive criticism, be willing to make redos, and know that the final product is what matters. - Get awesome experience & credit along with our incredible team of production professionals. - Student? Intern? We have several already. Part time/evening work? Fine with us! All we ask want is commitment to/sticking to schedules. 1. Ideally, we want someone who is familiar with and comfortable using Reallusion iClone3d and perhaps CrazyPeople 2D, as well. We wish to create an iconic character using Mr. Pose as the model. We are looking for your creative, short samples (30-60 seconds), based upon the above (or more than 1 if you want), to re-tell this short story using Mr. Pose and his character types. Some guidelines: a. Our audience is professional. Business. BUT… we do our best to make content as fun as possible. Some of our clients are very uptight, and we have to cater to some boring needs from time to time. Therefore, we need to find that balance between fun, humor & professional in the visuals. We want a smile on our audience’s face. b. Mix pictures/images with art/graphics? OK c. Interactivity? Cool. d. Want to have more audio and/or SFX added for your animation? No problem. e. How long did this sample take you to do… from start to finish? Our production teams schedule projects carefully, to meet customer needs? We need to get some good time budgeting figures from you, to plan our increased production and $ budget the first few projects as we learn and grow. We will then engage and contract with you or your team and move to real projects. If you can only work 10 hours a week, please tell us. If you are available for 40+ hours weekly, cool. Once we lock this process down, we will want to expand, so don’t be discouraged. If you have a team? Tell us about availability, skills and costs, too, please. We believe in simple approaches, like using lots of tech, maximizing resources, repurposing what already exists instead of building everything one pixel at a time, and taking advantage of our massive internal licensed library of images and videos. We are not and don’t want to be Pixar. ☺ We want to get this project off the ground quickly, stabilize the process, and get feedback from our clients so we can get it really, really close to right the first time. Professional yet fun. We will be adding Home & Family versions which may have an altogether different look and feel.
