SQL Server data insert/data update

Hello, I am Sr. database engineer from China. Now I work on big software company in China. I did the similar solution for your requirement. For task1: Delete data in SQL Server and load (starting from an ID) - on demand My solution: [login to view URL] a local SQL SERVER Database or Access Database. I suggest to use SQL SEVER, This will avoid some data type convert when load data. We call this db as "Dest" and call product sql server db as "Source" [login to view URL] 3 tables in "Destination". These 3 tables' schema same as 3 tables of "Source" [login to view URL] an SSIS package to load data from "Source" to "Dest". 3.1 This SSIS will have a config file to config some source/destination connection string. 3.2 This SSIS package will use a SQL query to read data of "Source"(starting form an ID) and load data to "Dest". 3.3 If data load successful in step 3.2, the SSIS package will call a SQL query to delete data from "Source". 3.4 If data load failed in step 3.2, the SSIS will raise a friendly error message. For task2: Check the last ID in SQL Server database and in original, based on this, delete the last 20 records and re-load and load additional new records - automatically (scheduled task or similar) My solution: 1. Create an SSIS package to do this task 1.1 Get last ID in "Source" and use an SQL query to delete last 20 records. 1.2 Re-load the additional new data from "Dest" to "Source" 2. Crate an SQL SERVER Agent job to auto call the SSIS package. One suggestion: We can create a log table to logging the task in "Source" or "Dest". This will easy to track the history status.
