Senior Wordpress Developer / Team Leader / needed Wordpress website improvement and reconstruction

We are a forward-thinking, architectural design and manufacturing company that has completed projects worldwide. We specialize in production of free form and geodesic architecture structures and diverse multi-media services, among others. We are improving and reconstructing our website (approx. 400 pages) and seeking the help of a preferred, experienced, senior developer to lead / coordinate and complete our website activities with a hands-on-approach. Experience and thorough understanding of all aspects of Wordpress website development (front end, back end, Wordpress plugins, graphics and design, layout, SEO, project management), is a must as well as a broad portfolio of completed start-to-finish website projects. This is a large, multi-task project. You would be responsible to guide the project and oversee/complete, improve the work of our current developer, SEO expert and other members of our IT team who work on layout, design and graphics and find needed personnel to complete projects when needed. Importantly, we expect the perspective Developer/Team Leader to have ongoing close communication with our Marketing and Management team regarding progress and implement ongoing counsel/instruction using task management tools, e-mails, etc. as well as offer constructive suggestions. Our long term goal is to redesign/improve the website’s SEO (google ranking), give pages a more modern, dynamic, feel and look (UX & UI), improve page loading time, make technical fixes as well as get the site mobile device ready. We are continually adding new pages and have a connected sub-site to merge with the website, among others. Graphics, layout and design and images. -Many pages need improvement. We would expect you to have thorough knowledge of this process and be certain the overall design, layout and graphics of the pages are well done. Site structure: • Combine pages from external site to main website. • Improve and add new categories / pages to main menu – • Redesign home/landing page • Re-do / improve design and functionality of existing Price Calculators Key Skills & Responsibilities • Website project management oversight and development • The candidate must speak fluent English, have good communication skills and be able to dynamically transfer our company vision, image and ideas into the website. • Report to and work closely with our Marketing and Management team, offer constructive suggestions. • Oversight and coordination of all efforts of our IT team • An understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment is important. • Ability to handle multiple projects at once, prioritize and meet deadlines. • Have a strong understanding of latest industry trends and content management systems. • Experience with responsive and adaptive design. • Fundamentals in object-oriented programming, data structures and problem-solving Requirements and qualifications • Experience building complex, responsive design WordPress websites that have been successfully delivered to customers. • In depth knowledge of WordPress and plug-ins • Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture • Designing and implementing new features and functionality • Managing all technical aspects of the CMS • Improve organic visibility, UX/UI, optimization and website coding. • Good understanding of SEO best practices • Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PSD to Html, PHP, • understand CSS changes to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers. • Fluency in graphic programs in the field of website design and website coding; • A high sense of aesthetics and ability to think creatively, out of the box; We look forward to hearing from you!
