I want to create a trading robot that automates a few ideas I have. The idea is mostly to focus on mean reversion using options ideally. But the first version can be done using shares to simplify development and testing, to then add option trading funcionality in a second version. If a trade is executed I want it to close the long trade at a certain percentage profit target (say, 5% for example). I would like a stop loss setup if any bar closes below the Fast Moving Average trend line. A similar setup for the Slow Moving Average where a Sell (Short) trade is placed after 1 bar closes below. Need an EasyLanguage code to calculate the number of bars since the last Moving Average Crossover. This could be developed as an indicator that I should be able to add to the RadarScreen and see the list of all stocks with this value. If slow MA crosses above fast MA then the value should be positive. If slow MA crosses below fast MA then the value should be negative. I have an easy language code that when run in Tr...would identify stocks that had their Price Channel up arrow triggered (or down arrow). It worked fine in TS 9.5, however, in Tradestation 10, it no longer works, I need a competent programmer to adjust/modified as needed so it works again in Scanner and Radarscreen. Note, this code does exactly what you would see if you inserted PriceChannel Strategy into a chart. I have 2 custom indicators Im using in Thinkorswim and wish to switch to Tradestation to automate the strategy, which is a very simple strategy where the 2 indicators simply need to line up, PDF included of explanation. The one indicator is called True Momentum Oscillator, the other Trend Magic, but Im only using one of the three timeframes in trend magic, which is the 3 minute. I have the rules and Thinkscript code outlined in the attached PDF, and Im brand new to Tradestation and dont know how their auto trading setup works. Ie, once the indicators are coded, do I then need an additional code to combine the indicators to execute the strategy? If so, I would need that code as well.
