Connect to unknown USB device and dump the firmware

Job Description:
I'm looking for a freelancer to help me connect a Windows 11 PC to an unknown USB device and dump the firmware. It is a handheld device and a USB connection will be needed. The freelancer will need to be able to read and write the firmware from the device. All details should be carefully handled and no malicious data or code should be written to the device or sent over the network. The device should not be damaged or modified in any way. The output of the project will be the firmware for the device which must be isolated and kept secure with the capability to rewrite the firmware back again (or after modification).
An ability to decompile/analyse the firmware once downloaded would generate another project of similar worth.
At the moment I cannot find any USB drivers for this unit. When connected I get the following information (see attached images).
There is proprietary software for connecting a windows PC to the unit however I cannot get access to this software. My goal is to access the device and dump the firmware/possibly rewrite another firmware after modification. There is no legal ramifications to doing this as the company involved no longer exists.
