I'm looking for a programmer that can convert a Python script into a piece of stand-alone software. The Python-script is open-source, however, I don't know anything about python so I can't get it to work. Ideally, I would like someone to convert it into VB.Net so that I can understand the code and perhaps change it to suit my needs which might arise in the future. I'm not going to disclose the script yet, first I would like to see if there's any interest in this project. What I can tell you is that the script is 550 lines but this includes the comments of the original developer. The script also involves Sockets and HTTPserver, so keep that in mind. I'm assuming that any script can be converted to any other type of language and can be created as a stand-alone application. So if you know Python and another programming language, let me know.

Hi, I can make a gui interface and convert it to an windows application by converting your script in a .exe. And i can give you, and explain how to turn your script with the given file, so you ll be able to modify it and convert it to an application yourself. If by converting it to an application you mean converting it to a linux debian/ubuntu package, and have it in the applications menu, i can do it too. Python in itself is self explanatory with it's indentation. If you yourself are a good programmer, you should be able to understand the code. Please send the script, and I can give you the VB.NET standalone clone version.
