For my Design Technology IB internal assessment, I'm focusing on creating an environment that minimizes physical discomfort due to sensory overload in ADHD children within classroom settings. I need help to:
- Develop and prototype a design solution
- Evaluate and potentially improve upon the initial design solution.
The ideal freelancer for this project would have a background in interior design or ergonomics, preferably with specific experience or understanding in ADHD children's needs. Experience or understanding of classrooms and their unique challenges would be advantageous, as would expertise or knowledge in accessible design principles.
This project will require a careful balance of design functionality and sensitivity towards ADHD children experiencing sensory overload, particularly in the area of physical comfort. The goal is to create a classroom environment that optimizes their learning experience and minimizes distraction or discomfort due to the physical space they are in.
As an experienced interior designer recently diagnosed with ADHD, I would be the right fit for this. Because I know their need and know how struggled ı was as a student. I believe that ı design an environment that is functional, less destructive, and also highlights their creativity.
