Remap change projection of climate data using CDO to regular lat lon grib2 file -- 2

Using the Program CDO [login to view URL] I would need to remap a ocean current grid to a regular grid file in grib2 data format similar to the one attached. I need to remap a file to a latlong regular grid and then convert it to a grip2 file. When creating a file using the remap function values for the variables did not seem to end up in the new file. I would be happy to have someone with better understanding of CDO write the commands for me. The remapping process should not take to long and needs to be done within a few hours or less. Later this should run in a shell script on the server. I will appreciate if someone can look into this.
