54626 Coldfusion App - Fusebox

Project Description: Expansion / Modification of Existing E-Commerce Application The base application is written for ColdFusion V5 or greater using Fusebox 3. It is a basic e-commerce app for products, with some content (page) management, and a Subscribers Only area to accommodate paid access to content. The backend database runs on MS SQL 2000. It's not an expensive app, just more than I can modify myself. We currently also have separate applications that allow us to list our workshops and allow subscribers to access paid content, running on both Windows and Linux platforms, using both MySQL and MSSQL. Workshop signup is via a separate instance of an older version of the application to be modified. This has become cumbersome as we've grown, and we are seeking to expand the new version of the e-commerce application, and integrate these various pieces so that we have single database, a single front-end, and a single admin interface. Registration System Add a registration system that allows for customers to view all upcoming workshops in a tabular format, ie: subject, cost, date and location table. Detail expands from subject. Sortable by field. This links to ‘Registration', allowing payment online using the existing checkout procedures. Also needed is the ability to gather name and contect information from more than one registrant (3 max) during the same checkout. Since these workshops are ‘products', I believe that additional tables can be added to the database to accommodate this, and then modifying existing page templates and admin functions to create a registration system based on the ‘products' functions in the current app. Subscribers Only The existing ‘Subscribers Only' content section allows access to basic page content created and maintained in the admin section. Our subscribers now pay to access a searchable database. This content needs to be integrated. Also, the database is maintained via standalone forms that needs to be integrated into the admin section. Events Calendar Again, a table format calendar with events grouped by month. This also pulls the workshop listings into it. Needs integrated admin. Other Database Driven Content We need to add admin and content pages for several database driven lists. There are approximately 8-12 of these lists. All of this content and their forms exist already in one form or another, so nothing new is being created. I've worked with Coldfuson for nearly 6 years, but not in shopping carts or in Fusebox. This one is just a bit beyond my current skill level, and I need this project sooner than I could try and do it myself. This is a featured project.
