Project/Module CROSS SELL OFFER DB Type UNIX Sun Solaris 5.10, Shell Scripting, PL/SQL and SQL*Loader Utility Duration 1.5 yrs Client WestPac, Australia Description This is a Support Project for WestPac Australia - Card division. Here the cross selling of different offers to the primary & secondary Cardholders is done. We support this operation & Production issues for fetching offers. The system receives request from channels like WS (work station), IVR (Voice), e-Service and m-Commerce, based on the input parameters the prevailing offers corresponding to the Cardholder is sent back. As of now the Pro*C application invokes & picks up the offers from the Oracle Procedures and closes the connection, we are introducing changes to hold Offers in a manner, so that more request for picking Offers can be made by the same channel, even if a new connection is made, increasing the number of Offers from 3 to N. Responsibilities Regular customer interaction Weekly data loading, Data extracts, Report generation Weekly partition exchange process Maintenance and modification of shell scripts Create database objects
