When I was a 6y old boy I did implement a similar one together with my grandfather, who was an electronic engineer and brought me into development field through projects like this. I actually can happily implement this one. I can offer schematic/layout for the custom casing. I offer something open-source like KiCAD. I have couple of questions though: are you able to assemble and debug the board once the design is done? If so, then my deliverables are schematic and PCB design + I can assist in PCB ordering. Otherwise, if you sees bringup on my side, would you like to get the complete assembled and tested PCBA? How tight is the schedule for you? What is you plan for the device: privat use?
