Audio transcription ME I am self employed and need a person to word process a number of audio files for me most weeks. Some weeks there will be numerous audio files to word process and other weeks there will only be a few, and occasionally there will be no audio files to word process that week. HIGH ACCURACY AND INDUSTRY SPECIFIC WORDS I require very high accuracy. However, I work in Engineering so many words will probably be new to you and you may have the understanding them. I can forward a list of engineering words if you wish. EFFICIENCY AND AUDIO YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND There will inevitably be some of my audio you do not understand. Do not guess what the words are. When you do not understand some words I have used you must insert red question marks (like this: …. ????). When you do this I can go straight to the red question marks and I can enter the words you did not understand. When you have to enter the red question marks it is not a sign of your poor performance. It is a sign of your professionalism. HIGH PRIORITY WORK/HIGHER FEE When I have high priority work I am prepared to negotiate a higher fee with you. That higher fee must be agreed before any high priority work is done by you. If we agree We would agree on the higher rate before proceeding with the high priority assignments. AVAILABILITY Timeframe is very soon. I want to start sending audio files today. Spending will vary. Some audio dictation will be several pages. Other audio dictation will be many pages. I have a reasonable backlog so it would be a reasonable number of audio files coming through for about three or four days. Looking forward to hearing from you. Mark Murphy
