I have worked in Complex Project for Investment Banks that have similar requirement although the database was oracle. I have worked in multiple projects in C++ in my 15 years careers. I am more interested in developing the long term relation. After leaving the job last week, I make myself fully available for freelance projects. Please let me know if you have any concern at +91 7042122709. My Understanding: 1. This project requirement is to develop a C++ API for fetching the data from the database. 2. API should support CRUD operation. 3. As it is used by WEB application, it should not be chatty and support bulk operation. 4. It should support logging for easy support. 5. There is no word about size of data but I code should be optimize for heavy size data. 6. In case of any exception, proper exception handling should be present to handle that situation. 7. It gives me the feeling this API will be used by REST API/SPA. Need your suggestion how this API will be used, so that it should be optimised for the same. Regards Alok
