Thank you for the opportunity to bid on your project. This is a project for which I can offer a great deal of experience and it is the type of project on which I most like to work. I have more than 35 years experience in corporate and entertainment law, commercial transactions and intellectual property. I have negotiated and drafted the full range of corporate and commercial documents and entertainment industry agreements, including service level and reseller agreements and terms of service for video streaming websites. I have guided many companies through difficult periods, and have extensive experience as a commercial litigator in intellectual property matters. My experience also encompasses working closely with small and medium sized entertainment and Internet companies in developing business plans and in implementing business and operational strategies. Thus, I understand and have hands-on knowledge of not only the legal aspects of corporate law and commercial transactions, but the practical and business aspects as well. I am able to begin immediately, am easily accessible, and enjoy working closely with clients on a long-term basis. I have my own law firm, preferring to work on a project basis rather than charge by the hour. This keeps the costs reasonable and clients know how much they will spend on each specific project or transaction. The bid of $250.00 includes preparation of any required documents, review of the terms of service, and all related consultation.

My skills would be an excellent fit for your needs on this project. I am a Silicon Valley software licensing and Internet law expert, so I know all about drafting these types of documents. Your bid is rather tight--my standard Silicon Valley rates are $410 per hour and I am currently discounting my rates on Elance and Guru to $55 per hour. I can give you the same discount. The quote will cover 4.5 hours of time, so we'll have to work efficiently. Normally, I would budget 3 hours of time on elance to draft terms of use and 4 hours to draft an agreement like a reseller agreement, so we are pushing this a bit, but if we both work efficiently I think we can meet your budget. I write a blog on intellectual property licensing law, and I serve on the advisory board of the local Silicon Valley chapter of the Licensing Executives Society.
