Voice and SMS Telecom Engineer

Voice and SMS Telecom Engineer Career level Senior (5-10 years) Greencall Mangement, a romanian telecom company is seeking a telecom engineer with good knowledge of VoIP and SMS interconnections. One of the main responsibilities will be to interconnect new voice and sms partners and manage these interconnections at a technical level. The candidate will be required to install, configure, troubleshoot and administer various telecommunications systems. Skills: • Advanced understanding of SIP protocols • Knowledge in configuring and troubleshooting SS7 and ISDN • SMS wholesale interconnections via SMPP, HTTP or SS7 • Database administration experience: MySQL or PostgreSQL • Networking: routing and switching, VPN and Firewalls • Monitoring tools knowledge: VoIP Monitor, Zabbix etc. Job Requirements: • Monitor the live traffic and take the necessary steps the ensure the best Quality of Service -Test vendors, -Make route changes, -Make rates and codes analysis, -Advanced troubleshooting (CDRs analysis, Wireshark interpretation) • Installs, configures, maintains and monitors the equipment inside the company • Solving equipment installation and configuration related issues • Works on interconnecting other carriers to Greencall Management network (technical setup, test calls, CDRs comparison) • Test different routing setups using VoIP testing software • Working on VOIP switch (Mediacore) • Medium-High knowledge in routing, CDR extraction and interpretation and full routing configuration • Client configuration • Provisioning - Full technical implementation and configuration of new clients into our system - Configuring now inbound and outbound trunks for both wholesale and CLI traffic - Creating rates and billing environment for the new client - Testing the new provisioning with the technical specialist from the client Side • Handing over the full setup to sales team for commercial provisioning • SMS platform administration • Identifies and resolves problems and restores services to the user in a timely and efficient manner with minimum disruption to the user • Collaborates with Business Development team members for continuous improvement • Fluency in English We offer: Attractive compensation package with clear progression
