A prospective RCT investigating the skeletal and dental effects of a modified twin block appliance worn for varying durations. -- 2

hi there, my name is Kate, I've gotten your details from Arun my classmate who you have help with the statistical analysis of his masters project. I understand he has been in touch with you regarding my data analysis. My project is an interim report on an RCT I have set up. I have just recruited 23 subjects to date and need to do some descriptive statistics on these subjects. I have done most of these but wondered if you could help me with a few things.. A sample size calculation has been done by someone in our department via the 'monte carlo' method, however i believe an 'altman nomogram' would be more preferable, is this something you can do for me? I'm looking a cephalometric data(side of skull radiograph) for 16 of the subjects and need to do an error study on 5 of these to validate the results. I have looked at previous studies where this is done via a 'bland and altman' test, is this something you can do for me? Finally I have done some descriptive stats via excel but am not the best at using this and wondered if you could give me some tips for presenting this data please. Attached is my protocol and some of my data. A physicist in our department did help with the bland altman today but I couldn't quite follow him and he just did it for one measurement and I'm not sure i can relate it to the rest of my measurements, I will attach his workings also aswell as a previous study(Luisa) on which I am basing my error study, it is documented on pages 57 and 62 of her study.I look forward to hearing from [login to view URL]
