Hi, Should be no problem doing the work as outlined, however you will need to provide more details on what you need for the two displays as there are many options. Are the two hoops in the same console? Do you need any audio feed back...buzzers or bells? I'm happy enough to detail the specification as it seems you dont have much time to stuff around. hi, I am in Brisbane, my profile might say something different because I set it up when I was back in Europe. I am an electrical/electronics engineer. I have used Arduino in many projects as well as standalone microcontrollers. The project is pretty straight forward but will need to know what kind of display has to be used. I imagine a big 7 segment one (2 to 3 digits). This might be a bit hard to find, I can check Altronics or Jaycar as time is a constraint. For the ball, a laser/line sensor which beam is cut when the ball passes through will have to be tuned (time wise) to avoid things like flies or other insects from triggering it. let me know if you have any questions
