Textile repeats are one of my specialties. I have been designing apparel for a major sporting goods company for 10 years. It's also my passion. I currently create repeats for rollar, panel, paper transfer and sublimated. I prefer to create my repeats in illustrator as they translate better on the fabric. I was able to see the attachments that you posted. I can recreate that pattern into a print in illustrator fully repeatable. Hello !! I am a graduate in textile design from India's premier design school, National Institute of Design. I have an experience of 7+years in textile design, my forte being Print Design. i have worked in print sector for fashion and home, stationery and packaging. I am adept in trend boards, lively and vibrants design concepts, print development, surface artworks and colorways, floral, graphic, ornamental and geometric designs. My designs are business-oriented yet trendy and in-vogue. I am very fond of craft pieces like the one you have sent as a design inspiration. It a Rabari Embroidery shoulder wrap, painstakingly hand-embroidered by the women of Rabari community in Gujarat, India. I myself had the opportunity to visit this community several years ago, to watch and learn their craft. Your concept of adding an international appeal to this humble craft is praise-worthy !!
