This should be very easy for someone.
1 - I need a C or C++ console app that I can execute in a directory.
2 - It will loop through the directory it is in and look for all files that have a TGA extension.
3 - It will then loop through this list of TGA files. For each TGA file, it will try to find a JPG file with the same name.
4 - If a JPG file exists with the same root name, then it will move the TGA file to a subdirectory (something like temp).
5 - it will display all activity on the console: TGA file it's looking at, if a matching JPG is found, moving the TGA file to subdir...
That's it. I should be able to compile it in Visual Studio 2005.
