Traceroute and Ping(repost)

Hello, I need a script? that will perform a traceroute and a ping? function.? I have a CentOS 4 VPS with PHP 5 and the script should be compatible. The script should be original, I am not looking for an already made GNU script. There? should be two functions: 1)The user can enter a hostname (domain? name) and then press a button to see a traceroute performed. The traceroute should be performed from my VPS? and displayed in real time.? ? The traceroute should be very fast. 2)There? should be a ping option where the user can enter a hostname (domain name)? and then press a button to? see a ping? performed.? The? script should? be set at a 5 ping maximum.? ? The ping should be performed from the VPS.? The design is not important and can be very simple.? ? ? There only needs to be a text field for the input and an ok button.? I will take care of the design, the main? concern is speed and? performance.
