HellaNZB (binary newsreader) frontend

I’m seeking an experienced programmer to work on an exciting project for a new business. Essential Skills Perl PHP XML MySQL AJAX CSS Linux Desirable: Knowledge of Usenet (particularly binary downloading), hellanzb, hellahella, zussaweb, .nzb files, Paypal IPN. Description The aim of this project is to turn binary news reading into a one-click process for any user with a web browser. You will be developing a web-frontend for hellanzb (similar to zussaweb/hellahella) that allows users to buy credits (using Paypal) which they can use to download NZB files. Buy download credits with Paypal IPN. 3. View basic account history. 4. ‘My downloads’ > 4.1 Pending jobs, jobs in progress and completed tasks. > 4.2 View completed jobs and download by http/https. * * * New Download 1. Browse/search NZBs uploaded by other members. 2. Upload NZB from hard drive / remote URL 3. Add by [login to view URL] ID (feature already in hellaznb). * * * Admin Panel 1. Search accounts, delete accounts, view transaction history. 2. Mass email 3. Modify credits 4. Show Statistics such as free space, size of all jobs completed daily. * * * The successful candidate will be expected it use their own ingenuity to solve problems with the specification and suggest ways of improving it. This is a long term project and continued development and improvement will be needed long after product delivery. Terms of this will be discussed before work begins. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
