We are a small manufacturing company. We ship between 200 and 300 orders per week and maintain over 24,000 customers in our current database. We need to consolidate all the current programs into one seamless package. Our product line is over 6000 products. Each item is made to order (no stock) Our current system includes: Miva Merchant ecommerce - manula batch, download and print of orders AOL for email management Custom Access Database for Customer Management Quickbooks2003 Pro for invoicing dot matric label printing dot matrix triplicate invoice printing Manual credit card entry What we need is as follows: General - Web based application for multiple (2-5) users to access data concurrently. We maintain a file server (Server2000) in our office that serves 8-12 pcs Ecommerce: - Automated import of customer orders from our current Miva shopping cart - Ability to process credit cards thru softyware (both individual orders and batches) - Ability to add phone and manual orders to system Shipping: -- Print address label for each order -- Possible integration with USPS for Priority Mail shipping Accounting: - Print invoice for each order - Inventory item lists with ability to track sales by item, category, etc. - Ability to reconcile sales to credit card totals Customer Management: - Records of all customers including dates, tracking numbers, status, etc. - Ability to batch email daily customers with shipping tracking and a message for shipped items. Email Support - Incoming and outgoing email system which should include a tracking number for routing emails to specific people. - Ability to search for specific emails in system by email address - Storage of at least 3 months of incoming and outgoing emails - Email alerts for items that have shipped that day ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). We will research all bidders.
