Database Development

PostgresSQL/mySQL & Microsoft Access Database Design We want to design a database to assist in part of our business operations. We want this database [along with its forms and queries] to be developed on both Microsoft Access (for local offline access) and on our webserver with MySQL/ PostgresSQL for our website Both databases would be managed from a single frontend so that one can be copied/compared into the other e.g. DBMAN, DBSchema (more can be found here online) ##Forms. #Form 1 New Order (which creates or adds to new customer) New /in stock product (if old, select from list. If new, enter customer information) New/Old Customer (if old, select from list. If new, enter customer information): request to print with agreement #Form 2 New Products/service Form ##Tables The main tables are the Client table (describing client details) Product table (describing whether it will be a product or a service with details) Order list (not orders can be for products not in stock) #Client table (with standard details) #Order table (may end up unnecessary if designed as a query that pools data from Client and Product data) ID Type Category -Service SubCategory Generic Name Model # Description Estimated Weight Status; (Pending, Approved, Cancelled, Purchased, Delivered) Cost Quantity #Product Table Model # Description Estimated Weight Cost e.t.c Purchase date Sale date ##Queries #Query 1 Customer Order1: Pending Orders that need approval (note 1: We want to be able to print all pending orders separated by Daily purchases of each customer/client and let them print it, read the agreement and sign it. We also want to the form to hide out internal cost but post the selling cost to the customer based on weight, purchase cost etc ) In essence ALL pending orders by customer to print a report like and invoice to show. #QUERY 2 Purchased but unsold products #QUERY 3 Sales report ## Deliverables ### Skills Required: Microsoft Access, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Database Modeling, Please be prepared to answer the following 1.
