hi see the pdf attached - there will be a drawing in the box and i need the contents of that box extracted and saved as another file HOWEVER the problem is that this sheet will be scanned and uploaded by people and therefore the box could be at slightly different co-ordinates therefore i need the script to automatically detect and extract the contents of the box any questions please ask

Hello, I have a good background in image processing. I can analyze your png files and using OpenCV (I can use PHP to drive the OpenCV code, but this will be in C++), detect the position of the black rectangle, copy what is inside this in a another png file.
