Corrupt named.conf or named zone, server problem

Corrupt [login to view URL] or named zone is what I believe to be the problem. I'm leasing a server, and was told today my HD died on it, so they swapped it. New OS was put on it as well. I can login to webhost manager, and though I have shell, I don't know how to operate in it. Basic problem is: <[login to view URL]> Although my domain [login to view URL] has been added to my webhost manager, and the information is correct, I can't get bind to restart on the server. This is what I think is keeping my websites from showing. Additionally, email isn't working either. Of course, how could it be? If the dns isnt working, the emails not going to either.
