I require a programmer to create a simple program which will search an Excel spreadsheet for the parameters of the data required and then search in a CSV file to find the data then insert the data into the relevant area of the Excel spreadsheet. I will need to be able to choose the CSV file to search as there are multiple files that I would like to use this application with. All CSV files are in the same format. There is only one spreadsheet with multiple sheets for the data to be entered in to. i.e. Select CSV file to Search ---> Select Excel spreadsheet to get parameters from ---> Search CSV file ---> Insert data into Excel Spreadsheet ******************** NOTE: - The CSV files are over 1,200,000 lines long and WILL NOT fit on to a Excel sheet. - The Excel file has over 2,000 separate lines (3 to 4 columns) to check for each CSV sheet. - The data searched will need to be entered in to the corresponding (correct) date. - Total cost to be NO MORE THAN $50

Hello there - I am an Excel genius and this looks like an interesting piece of code to write. This is bargain basement pricing but the appeal of writing this wins out. I am a native English speaker so nothing will be lost in translation. You are not quite clear about the rules and where the data goes - does it go back into the source file alongside the key that selected that data? Is there a 1:1 match of data to key or can a single excel row return multiple CSV rows? I can handle the file size for the CSV so that is not an issue. Hi - As I understand you need an application that reads multiple CSV files for value and then fill that value against the parameter/key in an excel file. I can write an .Net application that can do it. It will be a windows application and once you run it will ask you to upload file and then start the job. PM me if we can discuss more in detail.
