Hello This project involves the understanding of water tanks. We wish to create a online calclator to embedd into our website that calculates the volume of our storage tanks. You must calculate the volume using drop down selection heights and diameters. You must all understand that the tank may have deadwater, (wasted water at the bottom) and freeboard( where they is a airpocket that the water may not go up that high). therefore the distance between these heights is the effective volume. i will quiz anybody who requires to complete the project on the understanding of these points. I will also like a diagram where the volumes and dimensions pop up with the calculator. there is something similar on [login to view URL] I have attached excel file of the selection heights and diameters to be used. I would request a copy of the calculations etc before it is created into a website friendly version. Enjoy
