As the owner of a current website that isn't living up to its full potential, I'm seeking a skilled freelancer to undertake a critical role in enhancing my site's functionality. The project's primary focus will include fixing existing issues, adding essential features, and identifying and resolving any lurking bugs. The website is an event management system allowing users to add their guests phone number and then the guests will receive a confirmation message via WhatsApp once the confirm their attendance they get a barcode sent to them which would be scanned upon arrival, each guest has a different barcode **Key Issues to Address:** - Implementation of a functional payment gateway. - Integration for sending barcodes via WhatsApp. - Development of a barcode scanning feature. - Examination and resolution of any operational bugs. **Missing Features:** - My website currently lacks a capable payment gateway, along with features for sending and scanning barcodes. These are critical for the completion of transactions and for ensuring a smooth user experience. **Tasks at Hand:** - Add a robust payment gateway that supports various forms of electronic payments. - Incorporate functionality to generate and send barcodes through WhatsApp directly from my website. - Develop or integrate a barcode scanning system that complements our current setup. **Ideal Skills and Experience:** - Proficiency in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing similar projects. - Experienced with payment gateway integration and familiar with industry best practices. - Expertise in implementing messaging APIs, particularly for WhatsApp. - Skilled in detecting and debugging web application bugs, with a methodical approach to problem-solving. - Knowledge in creating and interpreting barcodes would be a significant asset.
