Interested in capturing information from a dedicated email account with horse racing data then following a link to pull more data from an anchored webpage of past results. Looking for a live data collection system that will go out to the emailed results daily and the associated link then project data on excel worksheet, access database would be better for analysis purposes. Let me know if it is possible to do this project. Also if you have built something similar for other people I’m willing to examine screen shots of what you got and perhaps purchase it from you. I’ve enclosed the following instructions and graphics for your benefit.

Hello Brian, I checked your .doc and I am sure it can be done with some tweaking. You can store the data in Excel or Access (your choice). You might break the TOS of Hotmail for using the account with automated software. You will have to use a regular pop3 account. Regards, Daniel

Hi Brian I have examined the race sheets , WEll it is somewht similar to the local scene. Yes teh data can be downloaded. But it will be massive exercise to get the past results. That is why they have the paid membership where you can do all that. AN excel VBA macro can be built to extract daily results. You can past results too. But if you confine your tracking just certain horses the exercise is worth Just some thoughts befor you assign teh work. Regards GANESH
