I have used rapsberry pi for external device interfacing including i2c real time clock RTC RTC (ds3231) use i2c and i have python module for it. do you want it ? this module is very simple. just we have to put address of IC and then for reading and writing, we just need addresses of registers (everything is already given in data sheet as you already know). this is very straight forward. i will charge minimum if you select me. it is just one hour task

Hi, I have some queries on this (as you may doing this in python will typically be a vey small task by itself). 1. Is the communication over a USB pass-through? If so can you please share the data sheet , command spec for this? If not can you add more details? 2. Is it a singe or multi-master bus? 3. Can you please share the data sheet of the device (if its a standard one like the atmega current sensors, temp sensors etc. just share the chip details so that I can download from the company's website)?
