Regarding Flashscore website, this is a very difficult one to scrape because all the information is display with javascript language. Hello, I have already looked into the requirements of your Betfair bet project and I think that my 5+ years experience with the Java technology in professional companies recommends me for achieving this. I am also working on a web server which is collecting data from different live score feeds, for example sofa score, goalwire or protvglobal. Data coming in JSON, HTML and XML is parsed and saved in the database. The web server then exposes REST services for integration of the client to get livescores, standings or different stats. For the Sofa Score I have already implemented the retrieval of livescores, lineups, match events, so if you want we can have a look over it and decide if you want to go with this live score API. The retrieval mechanism from flashscore is similar, so there should be no problem in getting data from them. I have a question regarding the implementation of the betting mechanism: How do you plan to use the lineups for the betting mechanism? If there are any important players missing from the starting line you decrease the chances of placing a bet? We can discuss into more details the requirements and start with the implementation.
